A Canadian based music publicity company, with its headquarters housed in the BC interior, Nice Marmot PR was founded by Mavis Harris who has worked on over 500 albums for artists all over the world. With national reach for album launches, tour promo - or even plain ole press release distribution - we have a crew of knowledgeable, media savvy, music lovers that work in every possible medium available.  Nice Marmot PR goes the distance, casts the net and makes sure that your music gets heard, gets noticed and gets maximum coverage.

In her career Mavis has been at the helm of the Canadian promotional campaigns for a myriad of artists including Alabama Shakes, Charles Bradley, PJ Harvey, Drake, Dragonette, Joel Plaskett, Peaches, Valerie June, Frank Turner, K.Flay, SonReal, Michael Kiwanuka, M.I.A., The Hives, Norah Jones and The Dears.  She was also the recipient of the 2016 Canadian Music Publicist of the Year at the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards, and she nailed a nomination down for 2017 as well.
